1. Information we may collect

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sweezy Cursors website, cursor tools, downloads, and the Sweezy Cursors browser extension across supported browser stores and platforms.

Sweezy Community (sweezy.community) is a separate service with its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and is not covered by this policy.

  • Basic analytics data, such as page views, approximate device/browser information, referral pages, and interaction events.
  • Advertising and cookie-related data when Google AdSense or similar ad features are active.
  • Cursor preferences such as likes, favorites, added cursor states, extension settings, theme, and language, which are mostly stored locally in your browser, along with technical data needed to keep the service working.
  • Information you send through our contact form, such as your name, email, and message.
  • Security and performance data processed by services such as Cloudflare, including technical request data used to protect and deliver the site.

2. Browser extension

The Sweezy Cursors browser extension is used to apply custom cursors on supported websites and to let users switch or manage cursor-related settings.

The extension may store selected cursor packs, pointer state, size choices, effects, favorites, added cursor states, and similar preferences in browser storage or extension storage so the feature works as expected.

Extension permissions should be used for cursor customization and related product features, not for reading private messages, passwords, payment details, banking information, or personal documents.

Custom cursors may not appear on browser system pages, extension store pages, or other restricted pages because browsers limit where extensions can run.

3. Information we do not collect or need

Sweezy Cursors is built for cursor customization, not collecting deeply personal data. At this stage, the site does not require user accounts or logins.

We do not need passwords, payment card details, private messages, banking information, or personal documents to provide Sweezy. Please do not send that kind of information through our forms.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the website, extension experience, and cursor tools.
  • To remember product choices like theme, language, likes, favorites, added cursors, and extension-related settings.
  • To understand which pages, categories, posts, and cursor packs are useful to visitors.
  • To respond to support, copyright, safety, or business messages.
  • To show, measure, and improve ads where advertising is used.
  • To protect the site, improve performance, reduce abuse, and keep pages loading reliably.

5. Google Analytics and Google AdSense

We use Google Analytics and may use Google AdSense. These Google services may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address information, browser data, and interaction data to provide analytics, ad delivery, ad personalization, fraud prevention, and measurement.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Sweezy Cursors or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use Google services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings, and you can also use browser settings or extensions to limit cookies and tracking.

6. Cloudflare security and performance

We use Cloudflare to help deliver Sweezy Cursors faster and protect the site from abuse, bots, suspicious traffic, and technical attacks.

Cloudflare may process technical request data and may set strictly necessary cookies for security, load balancing, bot management, or similar site-protection features. Cloudflare explains these cookies here: Cloudflare Cookies.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies and local storage may be used to remember preferences, likes, favorites, added cursor states, extension-related choices, consent choices, keep the interface working, measure traffic, support ads, and improve the experience.

Where required by law, we may show consent choices for analytics, advertising, or similar technologies.

For more detail, read our Cookie Policy.

8. Sharing information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, protect and deliver pages, analyze traffic, show ads, host files, or respond to messages.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to respond to valid legal requests.

We do not sell personal contact lists to unrelated third parties, and we do not use contact form details for newsletters or unrelated marketing unless we clearly ask first.

9. Data retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and manage the request. Support messages and related records may be kept while they are useful for support, safety, or rights management.

10. Your choices

  • You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
  • You can use Cookie Settings where available to review or update consent choices.
  • You can manage ad personalization through Google settings.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided, where applicable.
  • You can uninstall the Sweezy Cursors browser extension at any time through your browser extension manager.

11. Children's privacy

Sweezy Cursors is made for a general audience and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't run accounts or build user profiles on this site, and the only personal information you might give us directly is whatever you choose to include in our contact form, such as your name or email.

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't send us personal information through the contact form.

In some regions the minimum age to consent to data processing is higher — up to 16 in parts of the EU/EEA. Where that applies, only use Sweezy if you meet your local minimum age, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

If you believe a child under the applicable age has given us personal information, contact us and we'll take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. Contact
