How to use Sweezy cursors

Pick your favorite cursor pack, add it to your browser, and start vibing. Works on Windows, Roblox, and more.

Know Before You Start

Most cursor issues come from browser restrictions, not from the cursor pack itself.

System Pages Blocked

Extensions cannot run on browser system pages like New Tab, Settings, Downloads, Extensions, or Chrome Web Store pages.

UI Parts Not Affected

Custom cursors do not affect browser UI parts such as tabs, the URL bar, toolbar, and menus.

Refresh May Be Needed

Tabs opened before installation may need a refresh before the new cursor appears.

Some Sites Block Scripts

Sweezy works on most regular websites, except places that block extension scripts.

One Customizer at a Time

Using several cursor extensions at once can create conflicts, so keep one active customizer.

Get from Store

Setup Steps

  1. Open the extension page

Choose Chrome Web Store for Chrome, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, and other Chromium browsers. Edge users can use Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

Any Chromium browser can install Sweezy from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Install and confirm

Click Add to Chrome or Get, then confirm the browser pop-up. After installation, Sweezy opens a success page where you can test the cursor flow.

  3. Pin Sweezy to the toolbar

Open the extensions menu, find Sweezy Cursors, and pin it. The icon stays close, so switching cursors takes one click.

  4. Pick, resize, or turn it off

Open the popup, choose any cursor from your library, resize it if needed, or use the on/off toggle to return to the default cursor.

  5. Add more cursors

Use the Add Cursor button on the site to save new cursor packs to your collection in the Sweezy extension.

Browser FAQ

Is Sweezy Cursors safe?

Yes. The browser extension is published through official extension stores, and downloadable cursor files are clean assets without installers or executable files. You can also read our Safety & Trust page.

Why does the cursor not change on some pages?

Browsers block extensions on system pages, extension stores, browser UI, and some highly restricted websites. Refreshing old tabs also helps after first install.

How do I go back to the default browser cursor?

Open the Sweezy popup and turn the extension off with the on/off toggle. Your normal system cursor returns instantly.

Where do added cursors appear?

After you click Add Cursor on the site, the pack appears in your Sweezy extension library. Open the popup from the toolbar and pick it from the matching category.

How to change your Windows cursor

Prefer watching first? This walkthrough shows the Windows cursor setup flow before you follow the steps below.

Setup Steps

  1. Download Windows-ready files

Use Download on a cursor card or single cursor page. Pick Cursor, Pointer, or Complete Pack depending on what you need.

  2. Keep files in a stable folder

Store CUR and ANI files somewhere permanent, for example Documents/Sweezy Cursors. Windows can lose custom cursors if the source files move.

  3. Open cursor settings

Go to Settings, Bluetooth & devices, Mouse, Additional mouse settings, then open the Pointers tab.

  4. Apply Cursor and Pointer

Select Normal Select for the main arrow and Link Select for the hand pointer. Click Browse, choose the downloaded file, then Apply.

  5. Save your theme

After applying files, use Save As in the Scheme area. This lets you restore your custom setup quickly if Windows resets it later.

Windows FAQ

Windows cursor answers for CUR/ANI files, stable folders, resets, and defaults.

Which files should I use for Windows?

Use CUR for static cursors and ANI for animated cursors. Sweezy packs usually focus on Normal Select and Link Select because those roles are used most often.

Where should I keep downloaded cursor files?

Keep them in a stable folder, for example Documents/Sweezy Cursors. Windows points to the original file location, so moving files later can reset the cursor.

My Windows cursor reset after changing size. What now?

That is normal Windows behavior. Adjust pointer size first, then re-apply CUR or ANI files and save the theme again.

How do I restore the default Windows cursor?

Open the Pointers tab again and choose Windows Default in the Scheme dropdown, or reset individual roles with Use Default.

Roblox FAQ

Roblox cursor answers for PNG replacement, updates, backups, and missing cursor fixes.

Which files should I use for Roblox?

Use the Roblox PNG options from the Download menu. Roblox needs ArrowCursor.png and ArrowFarCursor.png inside its keyboardmouse folder.

Can Roblox use animated cursors?

No. Roblox uses static PNG files, so animated Sweezy cursors are converted into a single PNG frame for Roblox use.

Why did Roblox return to the default cursor?

Roblox updates can restore original cursor files. If that happens, repeat the replacement steps after the update.

My Roblox cursor disappeared. What should I do?

Breathe. This usually means one of the Roblox cursor PNG files was renamed, moved, or replaced incorrectly. Close Roblox, restore your backed-up ArrowCursor.png and ArrowFarCursor.png files, then restart the game. If you do not have backups, run the official Roblox installer again so it can rebuild the missing default files.
