1. Before sending a notice

Sweezy Cursors is a large and growing cursor library. Some cursor packs are made by our team, some are inspired by community ideas, requests, or references, and some are based on artwork shared by community members, which we may publish with credit.

Because the library is broad and includes original, fan-art, tribute, and community-inspired designs, it is possible that a rights holder may believe something should not appear on the site.

If that happens, please send a clear notice instead of guessing from the outside. We will review the specific item, check the context, and take appropriate action as quickly as we reasonably can.

2. DMCA takedown notice

To help us process your request, include the following information:

• Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The exact URL, cursor pack name, image, or page on Sweezy that you believe is infringing.
• Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Where to send it

Use Contact Us and choose “DMCA / copyright” as the topic.

If we add a dedicated legal email later, this page will be updated with that contact.

4. What happens next

We review notices in good faith. If the request is valid or needs immediate action, we may remove, disable, hide, or limit access to the reported content while we review it.

We may follow up internally, or with the relevant rights holder, if more information is needed before we act.

5. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice.

A counter-notice should include your signature, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your consent to the appropriate legal jurisdiction and service of process.

6. Repeat infringement

We may remove or disable content, and take further action, when we repeatedly receive valid notices about material that violates copyright or other rights.

7. Trademark and brand concerns

If your concern is about a trademark, brand, character, or attribution issue rather than copyright, contact us with the exact page and a clear explanation. We will review it separately.
